      Alignment

Print the test page on plain paper, hold it over your check stock against a light, and nudge the offsets until the boxes line up. Positive X moves right, positive Y moves down (inches).

      In the print dialog

      • Paper: Letter · Scale: 100% / Default (never "Fit to page")
      • Margins: Default or None · Headers and footers: off
      • Feed check stock face-up or face-down per your printer; test on plain paper first.
      • On a phone: Share → Print (iPhone) or ⋮ → Share → Print (Android). Check alignment once from the phone too, phone printing can shift slightly.

      Backup & devices

Your data never leaves this device. Accounts, bank numbers, payees and check history are saved only in this browser. Nothing is sent to any server. Each device keeps its own copy, so use Backup to move it between your computer and phone.

      About the MICR font

The bank line uses GnuMICR, a free E-13B font by Eric Sandeen (GPL), shipped alongside this app: readme, license, source.

Typed signatures use free handwriting fonts: Great Vibes, Dancing Script, Allura, Sacramento and Mrs Saint Delafield (SIL Open Font License, license) and Homemade Apple (Apache 2.0, license). They're stored with the app, so they work offline.
