The federal baseline
Whatever the bank, federal Regulation CC requires the first $275 of check deposits by the next business day and most of the rest by the second business day, with longer “exception holds” for deposits over $6,725, new accounts and a few other cases. Full details: how long does a check take to clear?

It depends on how you deposit and the type of check. Compare each bank's published standard availability and mobile cutoff in the table above; many banks make at least $275 available the next business day.
What is the latest mobile deposit cutoff time?
Cutoffs vary by bank, from early afternoon to late evening Eastern time. The table lists each bank's published mobile deposit cutoff.
Do all banks follow the same check hold rules?
All US banks must meet the federal Regulation CC maximums, but each bank can release funds faster and sets its own cutoff times and new-account policies within those limits.
